About the Role:
As a Water Damage Specialist, you will lead water mitigation efforts, ensure industry-standard practices are followed, and oversee equipment usage and moisture assessments. This position is ideal for professionals with at least 12 months of experience in water damage restoration and direct involvement in at least 25 water damage projects.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Lead water damage response teams for residential and small commercial losses
🔹 Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety standards
🔹 Conduct moisture assessments and document water losses accurately
🔹 Utilize water extraction and drying equipment efficiently
🔹 Maintain detailed records, reports, and photographic documentation
🔹 Perform daily vehicle and equipment inspections to ensure readiness
🔹 Provide mentorship to junior technicians and assist senior specialists in complex projects
🔹 Work within time constraints to meet project deadlines
🔹 Travel as needed and be available for night and weekend shifts
🔹 Attend company-sponsored training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 12 months of prior experience in water damage restoration
- Completion of at least 25 water damage projects
- Knowledge of IICRC standard work practices for water and mold damage
- Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, especially during catastrophic (CAT) events
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed
