Job Description: Business Unit: Volaris Group Job Summary: Volaris Group is looking for an Analyst, M&A Business Development, to join one of its rapidly growing portfolios. The candidate will have a global mandate to identify acquisition targets in the vertical market software (“VMS”) space. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter who can thrive with minimal oversight. The role will entail using Salesforce daily to maintain an existing acquisition prospect funnel, requiring regular touchpoints. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for growing the acquisition prospect funnel by identifying VMS targets through independent research. The Position The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, vetting, and ultimately sourcing successful acquisition targets. The successful candidate will need to be able to intelligently articulate why prospects were qualified into or out of our funnel by leveraging an intimate understanding of our acquisition philosophy. The Candidate will undergo extensive best-in-class training to develop an understanding of Constellation Software’s acquisition interests and investment style. The ideal candidate will feel comfortable in a deal origination role with daily interactions with senior level target audiences. Responsibilities include: Target Research: Grow our portfolio’s M&A funnel by researching and identifying suitable acquisition targets core to our portfolio (ex. by geography and vertical). Nurture Existing Funnel: Take ownership of an existing funnel of acquisition prospects and quickly develop a strong relationship to be the trusted point of contact. Financial Acumen: The successful candidate will need to ascertain a basic understanding of a company’s financials (growth levers, recurring vs. non-recurring revenue, customer churn, etc.) before moving a prospect on to the M&A execution team. Generate Internal Reports: Use Salesforce tools and data to generate reports which will provide strategic deal sourcing insights. Other: Complete ad-hoc projects to support portfolio M&A Qualifications & Requirements Role is suitable for someone with between 0-3 years of post-undergraduate experience Strong analytical combined with an ability to understand and describe business models with proficiency Prior experience using Salesforce is a plus, but not required. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Comfortable communicating with C-level executives at target companies Undergraduate degree, preferably in business (ex.
