We are currently searching for a talented PA Director of Bridge Engineering to join our Mid-Atlantic Region in Camp Hill, PA, Pittsburgh, PA or surrounding area to lead our bridge engineering growth and delivery in PA.
The ideal candidate will lead bridge engineering in PA by managing, overseeing and periodically performing engineering-related tasks including research, development, design, and delivery on assigned project(s).
What you'll be doing :
- Managing projects / tasks and staff in the delivery of those projects / tasks
- Developing scope and fee proposals for various projects and tasks
- Overseeing, checking and performing calculations and analysis for bridge and transportation structures using various bridge design software programs
- Review calculations and design details developed by others
- Work sharing on project assignments throughout our corporate footprint
- Performing and overseeing load ratings on bridges of various type size and complexity
- Attend meeting with clients and other professionals and organizations for the purposes of expanding our business and winning new work
- Leading and supporting proposal efforts to pursue projects and contracts
- Develop solutions to challenges presented by the client within budget, schedule, and project constraints
- Organize and maintain project files
- Building and managing a group of structural bridge engineers and technicians
