Summary
Manage projects in an automotive manufacturing environment, meet and / or exceed company goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
New Product Launch / Development
- New and Series Product Pre-Planning Concept, Including Investment Planning
- Specification Development for new and existing manufacturing equipment and tooling
- Equipment Development, Design, Installation, Commissioning, and Handover to Series Production
- Support in Process / Product Development
- Continuous Improvement Activities to support best in class production system
Series Planning Support
- Maintenance and Production Support
- Coordinate activities with Production / Support teams to minimize production delays
- Develop systems to meet Key Performance Indicators(KPIs), analyze data and monitor performance
- Identify requirements for product to Improve Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost
- Lead and Complete projects on schedule and within the annual operational and capital budgets
- Lead and Drive Problem Solving activities in regards to process and machine issues
- Lead Engineering activities in processing model changes / investigations (Change Management)
Qualifications
Required
- 3-5 years job related experience
- 4 year Engineering degree or Equiv.
- Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineer With Automotive Experience
- Experience with / in
- Lean Manufacturing
- Capitol Project Implementation
- Jig / Fixture Development / Implementation
- Project / Vendor Management
- CAD / Layout Software
- Equipment Design / Analysis
- Layout Design / Analysis
- Process Development / Analysis
Preferred
- Advanced degree preferred
- Maintenance system development / management
- PLC programming / Automation Experience
- Assembly Torque tools
- Microstation or Catia Software
- 3D Printing Experience
- Ergonomic Assist Development
- Automotive Facility start-up / manufacturing experience
