Base Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 (W2)
Shift Length: 1-5 game shifts w/ 40-50 minute games (dependent upon league registration)
Reports To: Staffing Team (Product Director, Staffing Manager, & Staffing Coordinator)
Location: Turf Fields in Canton and Fed Hill of Baltimore

Job Description:
When you accept a position with Volo, you’ll be joining a passionate, driven group of innovators within the adult sports industry. Volo Sports is seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable soccer referees to join our team in Baltimore. As a soccer referee with Volo Sports, you will play a vital role in ensuring fair play, safety, and sportsmanship during our soccer matches. This is a part time position, however, there are opportunities for advancement within the company.

Soccer Referee responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Responsible for running organized, fun, social, safe, and fair league, tournaments, and events at Volo owned and/or partnered locations
- Cultivate a fun, social, fair, and safe environment for members of the Volo community
- Officiate soccer matches in accordance with the rules and regulations set forth by Volo Sports
- Perform pre-game captains meetings to review rules and expectations
- Ensure fair play and sportsmanship among players
- Enforce game rules and penalize infractions as necessary
- Maintain control of the match and manage any conflicts or disputes that may arise
- Communicate effectively with players, hosts, commissioner, coordinator, and staffing team
- Provide feedback and guidance to players when necessary
- Uphold the integrity of the game and represent Volo Sports in a professional manner
- Abides to company policies in all areas - customer experience, dress code, attendance, time off, following procedures
- Provide on-site basic medical support and escalate if necessary
- Submit a game log with yellow/red card names and other useful information
- Submit incident reports as necessary for injuries, altercations, and the like
- Must be available at least 1 day per week on Monday through Friday from 5:30pm-11:00pm(or later) or Saturday through Sunday from 8:15am-11:00pm(or later) at least eight weeks at a time (season length)
Must-Haves:
- Must have a strong understanding of soccer rules and regulations
- Previous experience as a soccer referee preferred, not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to undergo training and certification as required by Volo Sports
- Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends
