Job Overview:
We are looking for Solar Sales Consultants who excel in closing deals and have a proven track record of sales success. This role is not about generating leads or cold calling—our dedicated appointment-setting team will schedule pre-qualified appointments for you with homeowners ready to learn about solar. Your job is to meet with these clients, review proposals, and guide them through the decision-making process with the best combination of products and services in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend 4 pre-booked, qualified appointments per week with potential clients to present tailored solar solutions.
- Conduct 1-hour sales meetings to review proposals, explain potential savings, and answer any client questions, focusing on educating the homeowner about the benefits of solar and how financing works.
- Distribute prebuilt data on optimal roofs to neighbors in the vicinity of scheduled appointments, providing them with information on potential solar solutions to expand sales opportunities.
- Document meeting details, client feedback, and relevant information in our CRM system to support ongoing communication and client follow-up.
- Participate in sales meetings to discuss strategies, share insights, and continuously improve client engagement and closing rates.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven sales experience, particularly in outside or in-home sales—solar experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- A customer-first mindset with the ability to build rapport and trust quickly.
- Proficiency with CRM software to manage and document client interactions.
- A reliable vehicle for traveling to and from sales meetings and canvassing neighborhoods.
- A willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic industry.
Compensation:
Uncapped commission (On-Target Earnings $100,000-$250,000).
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
