Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $20 - $22 per hour.

Volt is immediately hiring an Assembler in Smyrna, TN !
As an Assembler you will :
- Read and understand moderately complex to very complex wiring diagrams, bill of materials, kit sheets, front elevation and one line.
- Reports issues through entering Andon’s in LDS (Lean Digitization System).
- Enter wiring terminations through OPS app.
- Assembles very small to large parts and performs wiring assembly.
- Utilizes a wide variety of hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment.
- Performs entire wiring assembly operation of one job (from pre-arranged kit) from start to finish.
- Responsible for own product quality, proper measuring techniques, and tool use and care.
- Evaluates and performs basic to moderately complex troubleshooting, and obtains support from supervision, and engineering as needed.
- Establishes a safe and healthy work environment.
- Maintains all certifications for group(s) and completes all required training.
- Performs other duties as required and often in other groups.
The ideal candidate will be:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Requires PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), plus safety shoes and safety glasses must be worn on the production floor.
- Work is performed in an Assembly/Manufacturing environment.
- Requires ability to reach overhead, pull, push, and climb a ladder to perform work.
- Ability to lift 26 pounds occasionally or 22 pounds repetitively.
