Volt is immediately hiring a Quality Lab Tech in Newport, Delaware for a global leader in instruments, services diagnostic and life science laboratories solutions.
In this role you will be responsible for performing a variety of functions that support the manufacturing process to ensure products meet specifications.
This is a second shift position.
As a Quality Lab Tech you will :
- Perform quality control testing on a variety of in-process and finished products.
- Maintain documentation and assisting in compliance with the Quality lab system.
- Provide accurate and timely results of testing.
- Use computers to record, document, report and communicate.
- Conduct calibration and standardization of instruments as needed.
- Executing common laboratory processes and procedures.
- Assisting with the development of tests for new methods and procedures, as needed.
Estimated Duration up to 24 mths
The ideal candidate will have :
