Volt is immediately hiring for an Applications Engineer in Franklin, WI . You will work with engineering teams at North America's leading manufacturer and provider of the finest high precision machining centers with a focus on 5-axis machining centers.
As an Applications Engineer you will :
- Provide customer applications training / support in house and at customer’s facilities
- Perform time studies, test cuts, and machine demonstrations as needed
- Programing of multi-axis applications utilizing CAM-systems
- Assist in reviewing applications aspects of RFQs and turnkey projects and feasibility
- Provides sales support at tradeshows and open house events
- Develop leading machining processes
- Provide customer production analysis and support on site, etc
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested
- Travel to client sites to complete equipment trainings and programming exercises
This is a Full Time, Direct Hire opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have :
Travel Perk : Company credit card, Daily per diem when traveling.
Salary : $25.00 – 40.00 / hour
