Volt is hiring for a Hybrid Senior Expert FinOps Cloud Architect in the Santa Monica, CA vicinity.
As a Senior Expert FinOps Cloud Architect you will :
Have a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure and cost management and will work closely with our internal development teams to identify and implement strategies to reduce cloud expenses without compromising performance or scalability.
Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis of current cloud expenses and usage patterns to uncover cost-saving opportunities and eliminate inefficiencies.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize cloud resource allocation and utilization.
- Develop and implement cost management strategies, including rightsizing, optimizing storage solutions, and looking for efficiencies on managed services.
- Monitor and report on cloud costs, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Work directly with internal developer teams to implement these recommendations on new and existing projects.
- Work with DevOps and Infra engineers to optimize our internal Kubernetes platform.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies and cost management tools to ensure best practices are being followed.
This is a full-time 12-month contract opportunity with the possibility of extension.
