Let Volt Help You Move Forward Volt is immediately hiring for a Dock Associate in Olathe, KS As a Dock Associate, you will :
- Has a positive attitude and provides courteous, friendly service to all internal team member and external customers, by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries and requests.
- Knowledge of warehouse layout to access products and warehouse contents in efficient and timely manner.
- Loads and unload freight using suitable material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Utilize RF scanner to allow package tracking to ensure on time, error free delivery.
- Maintain accuracy when sorting out packages based on customer and delivery routes.
- Safeguard cross dock operations and contents by establishing and monitoring safety and security procedures and protocols.
- Ensures dock areas are clean and free of debris to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Conducts daily inspections, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, local and internal laws, regulations, and policies.
- Collaborate with other warehouse team members throughout dock to ensure continuously improving best practices and optimization of freight related arrangements.
- Protects company assets and confidential information in accordance with company policies and procedures. Including, but not limited to, candidates, team members, customers, vendors, and proprietary company information.

- 5 : 00pm- 9 : 00pm (Parttime)
- 3 : 00pm- 11 : 30pm
- 11 : 00pm-7 : 30am
The ideal candidate will have :
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Sit Down Forklift exp
- Proven successful experience as a dock / warehouse team member.
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to stand 8 hours a day
Pay Rate : 19.00 / Hourly *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
