Volt is immediately hiring a Maintenance Mechanic for a local leading organization in Arvin, CA
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will:
- Assist mechanics in obtaining parts
- Build Equipment with Assistant
- Identify parts by nomenclature
- Handle minor breakdowns without assistance
- Document findings during preventative maintenance
Maintenance Mechanic Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 6 months of relatable experience
- Must pass the Maintenance 1 qualification exam
- Must demonstrate working knowledge of all aspects of Maintenance 1 level.
- Have a friendly and productive attitude in a highly intensive work environment.
- Have a willingness to support all Production activities, as required.
- Must know and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
- Must pass Quality Control GMP testing.
- Have a willingness to learn new skills and techniques
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
- Ability to work outdoors
- Ability to work in different temperatures (as hot as 100 degrees to 110 degrees and as cold as -20 degrees to 32 degrees)
- Able to move items up to 50 lbs. to a height of 5 ft.
This is a Full-time 3rd Shift Position
The schedule is 9:00 PM- 5:30 AM (must be able to work other shifts as needed)
The first day of work will start at 8:00 AM
Pay for this position is $17.75 per hour
