What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler / Driver position at Volt?
Volt is immediately hiring a Material Handler / Driver for immediate employment in Downtown San Diego.
As a Material Handler / Driver you would :
- Receive, sort, store, issue, stage, move, dispatch, and ship materials, parts ,tools, assemblies in and out of Solar facilities as assigned.
- Determine the sequence of work order requirements necessary to comply with schedule requirements.
- Take necessary corrective action to prevent and / or cure shortages or delays.
- Provide data to cognizant departments as assigned.
- Maintain records necessary to show status of any job in assigned area at any time.
- Prepare necessary closeout documents upon completion
of work order.
This position is working 2nd shift; 2pm - 10 : 30pm. It may require a few days of training on 1st. Position is temp for 15 months with the chance of going perm.
Requirements :
Pay Rate : $20-25 / hr
