Volt Workforce Solutions is immediately hiring for an experienced Office Manager / HR Specialist for the Oceanside, Ca. area.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Office Manager / HR Specialist . This is a hybrid role combining office management responsibilities with HR functions, including Employee Relations (ER), Benefits Administration, and Leave of Absence (LOA) management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and administrative support, with the ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
As an Office Manager / HR Specialist :
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring efficiency and organization.
- Maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
- Manage office space, coordinate meeting room bookings, and ensure the workspace is welcoming and functional.
- Assist with scheduling, event planning, and general office communication.
- Support senior leadership with administrative tasks such as travel arrangements, meetings, and presentations.
- Employee Relations (ER) : Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns and foster a positive work environment through proactive problem-solving and conflict resolution.
- Benefits Administration : Manage employee benefits enrollment, including health, dental, vision, retirement plans, and wellness programs. Act as a liaison between employees and providers to address benefit-related inquiries and claims.
- Leave of Absence (LOA) : Handle the administration of employee leave requests, including FMLA, short-term disability, and other leaves of absence. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and track employee leave status.
- Onboarding / Offboarding : Lead the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed. Manage offboarding for departing employees, including conducting exit interviews and finalizing paperwork.
- Compliance & Record Keeping : Maintain accurate, up-to-date employee records in compliance with federal, state, and company policies. Assist with audits and ensure documentation is properly filed.
- Employee Engagement : Support employee engagement initiatives by planning company events, recognition programs, and helping to maintain a positive workplace culture.
