Volt is hiring Quality Auditors for a leading manufacturing company in West Columbia, SC. General Purpose : Audits processes and products (post-production) to ensure company’s requirements and specifications are met. As a Quality Auditor, you will : Ensure accurate data collection. Conducts internal audits following regulatory, industry and internal quality guidelines including ISO.Conducts process audits and follow up closure of open audits.Helps department in the root cause analysis and corrective actions of audits findings, tracking toresolution.Initiates product / process improvements.Helps filing of audits and maintenance of records.Monitors and report metrics to meet business needs.Prepares reject reports by identifying necessary information for follow up and analyzes rejects / defectsfor patterns of process errors or other areas of concern.Provides immediate feedback to production areas concerning process deviations.May be required to facilitate Quality Alert meetings.May provide process trainingQuality Auditor candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration : High School Diploma or EquivalentMinimum of 5 years related experience in Quality ControlAbility to stand for long periods of timeAbility to lift up to 10 lbs Experience with measuring tools, color coding, schematics and electronic assembly.Pay Rate : $20.00 per hour - Shift : Monday - Friday 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm
