What are the responsibilities and job description for the Test Technician position at Volt?
Volt is immediately hiring a Test Technician in Lisle, IL.
As a Test Technician you will :
Work in a laboratory environment, using a microscope to assist with cross sectioning visual inspection, dimensional analysis, construction analysis, and additional sample fabrication steps prior to reliability testing.
This is a full time, contingent opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have :
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years’ work experience in a related field; OR an Associate’s degree and 1 years’ work experience in a related field required
- Proficient with hand soldering equipment / techniques
- Working knowledge of interconnect systems, twisted pair, coaxial conductors, etc.
- Experience with any of the following wire preparation and termination techniques (crimped, soldered, welded)

Pay Rate : $26 / hour- $33.65 / hour
