Compensation: Salary of $150,000 - $175,000 with annual performance-based bonus

We are seeking an experienced Operations Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing treatment plant operations, developing process plans, and providing expert advice to our clients. This position requires significant travel (approximately 60%) and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in diverse water and/or wastewater process operations (8 years).
- Minimum 3 years in a supervisory/management capacity.
- Wastewater Grade 5 certification is mandatory.
- Strong project management, writing, and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel as needed.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience consulting with management-level positions.
- Consulting firm experience or contract operations experience within an engineering firm preferred.
- Strong background in compliance.
- Assist clients in optimizing treatment plant staffing, labor, power, and chemical costs.
- Develop process startup, commissioning, and testing plans.
- Develop site inspection checklists for construction.
- Lead commissioning, startup, and testing efforts.
- Advise clients on startup adjustments and facility tuning.
- Prepare Standard Operating Procedures and related documentation.
- Develop operator training courses and O&M manual updates.
- Provide facility optimization services and conduct systems performance evaluations.
- Review operating and laboratory data.
- Evaluate staffing levels, training needs, and develop process troubleshooting guidelines.
- Assist clients in staff development, transition planning, and operational data acquisition.
- Assist with client marketing and participate in project pursuits and conferences.
- Salary: $150,000 - $175,000 annually.
