Shift : 7am - 3:30pm
Contract : 9 weeks
Pay Range : $60/hr - $70/hr (Negotiable)
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing operations, ensuring adherence to best practices in patient care and regulatory compliance.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures to enhance service delivery.
- Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff, fostering professional development and teamwork.
- Ensure the rights of residents are protected while promoting their dignity and well-being.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Monitor patient outcomes and implement quality improvement initiatives based on data analysis.
- Stay informed about Medicare regulations and ensure compliance within the nursing department.
- Manage staffing levels effectively to meet the needs of patients in home care, acute care, or nursing home settings.
- Uphold HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of DON Experience
- Active RN License for the state of VT or Compact
- Active BLS Certificate
