POSITION SUMMARY :
Develop and maintain a strong trusted advisor relationship with regional credit union stakeholders (territory of Ky. & W.Va) and executives to fully understand their business strategy and measurements for success with integrity and reliability. Identify and develop new opportunities for member growth. Responsible for meeting and exceeding sales goals and stated strategic initiatives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES : Essential or Nonessential
60% Conduct in-person and / or virtual visits through communication
with existing members focusing on relationship building through VolCorp's credibility, transparency, trust, and desire to be their
financial partner of choice.
Increase member portfolio depth and relationship "stickiness"
Improve product and service penetration and profitability
Forecast, maintain, and track key account metrics
10% Continue knowledge of VolCorp and Symphony products and
services for member discussion and demonstration
10% Track sale funnel status and member relationship activity
within VolCorp's Customer Relationship Management
CRM) system
10% Attend events affiliated with Credit Union Movement
e.g. annual Forum, leagues, chapter meetings, conferences, etc.
10% Prepare detailed cost analysis / proposals and close opportunities
RELATED DUTIES :
Assist with short and long-term development of departmental strategic initiatives and goals
Perform other special projects or duties as assigned.
Adhere to company and governmental policies and regulations including those related to Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Plan compliance.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or equivalent years relevant experience with 5 years progressive business development and / or financial service industry experience.
