SUMMARY
Oversee the daily operation of the Bill Daniels Veteran Services Center, the Mission, the Veteran’s Assistance Funds and the Supportive Services Assistance Funds. Serves as primary liaison between VOAC and current tenant partners at the Veteran Services Center and Mission, conducts community outreach to engage partners and coordinate lease compliance in coordination with agency leadership. Develops and operates volunteer, internship, fellowship, and peer programs that meet the needs and interests of the department’s target populations. Prepares and maintains documentation in compliance with agency and funding sources. Works with community organizations to increase community involvement and build relationships within VOAC. Maintains the safety and wellbeing of all participants and oversees the cleanliness of the facility and the surrounding properties, including the alleys. Coordinates the delivery of all services and resources in alignment with the Residential, Youth, and Emergency Services mission. Ensures program accountability, professional interaction/communication between VOAC staff, participants, volunteers, third party entities, vendors, collaborators, and neighbors.
JOB DUTIES
· Ensures that the participant’s voice is heard, and when appropriate, allow for the participant’s ideas to play a prominent role in programming.
· Develops systems to ensure efficient and professional functioning of the Veteran Services Center and the Mission. Schedules and oversees buildings front desk coverage. Assists with front desk duties as needed to include answering phone calls, taking messages, accepting donations, handling mail, providing tours.
· Oversees the operation of the Bill Daniels Veteran Services Center and Mission, includes monitoring building upkeep and assisting with actively coordination. Working in conjunction with VOAC Building Services Department, ensures building systems and protocols function well and in a safe manner.
· Serves as the liaison between VOAC and current tenant partners and conducts community outreach to engage new partners. In coordination with agency leadership, contacts tenants to discuss and solve problems with rent payment or lease violations. Takes necessary action to terminate lease if appropriate in conjunction with the Associate Director and Sr. Director.
· Develops, implements, and evaluates volunteer programs and activities appropriate to the population served by the Veteran Services Center and Mission and ensures their delivery in a safe and quality manner. Provides coordination, supervision and evaluation for peer support staff, interns, and volunteers. Coordinate methods for leveraging volunteer opportunities, internships, and fellowships.
· Develops and implements fundraising strategies for the Bill Daniels Veteran Services Center and Mission and other programs in conjunction with the Associate Director, Sr. Director and VOAC Development Department
· Oversee the business management functions of the Bill Daniels Veteran Services Center and Mission to include recordkeeping, supply inventory, scheduling, and processing invoices.
· Compile regular reports for Veteran Services and Mission volunteers, internships, and fellowship programs, as well as for the Veteran Services Center and Mission functions.
· Train relevant personnel as needed to input data into ServicePoint System and pull reports from ServicePoint.
· Assists Ministry team with overseeing the Mission church component by organizing Volunteer Ministers for afternoon and Sunday services.
· Maintain client confidentiality and perform job responsibilities in accordance with the Social Work Code of Ethics.

Requirements
Supervisory Responsibilities
· Provides supervisory report to a minimum of 2.5 FTE (Veteran Resource Coordinator and Mission Resource Coordinator)
Minimum Qualifications of Position
· Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Management, Communications, Human Services or related area or equivalent relevant experience.
· Management and/or supervisory experience required.
· Experience with successful development and implementation of large projects required.
· Proficiency in computer skills and related word processing, data management and web-based computer programs.
Preferred Qualifications of Position
· Experience with Veterans and/or volunteer programs preferred.
· Experience with building management preferred.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
· Travel throughout the program’s service area is required on a regular basis.
· Must be able to work in diverse and, at times, uncomfortable environments such as homeless shelters, service facilities, streets, offices, and all other locations as necessary to fulfill program objectives.

· Work hours may vary but are typically scheduled around a 40-hour workweek designed to fulfill program objectives with the expectation that there may be extra hours during the holidays and Founder’s Day
