Volunteers of America Delaware Valley is seeking an experienced, visionary Treatment Director to lead the therapeutic components of its Correctional Services programs. This senior-level role is essential in ensuring the delivery of high-impact, evidence-based treatment, professional development, and program quality within our behavioral health and reentry initiatives.
As Treatment Director, you'll supervise case management teams, shape agency-wide training initiatives, and guide the implementation of core treatment programs that support meaningful reintegration and long-term behavioral change.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee the treatment program across both treatment and work release phases
- Supervise case managers and clinical staff; provide coaching, mentorship, and training
- Lead team meetings and clinical reviews; ensure timely and accurate documentation
- Develop and implement staff training in evidence-based modalities
- Evaluate service delivery and maintain program quality assurance
- Collaborate with agency leadership and external stakeholders on program development
- Carry a small specialized caseload as needed and support challenging cases
- Lead the Core Treatment Team and assist in developing the annual training schedule
- Provide certified training in addiction, behavioral therapy, and other specialized topics
- Contribute to agency research initiatives and data-driven program improvements
- Master’s degree in a human services field (licensure preferred)
- 4 years of direct clinical or correctional treatment experience
- Previous supervisory experience in behavioral health or corrections required
- Deep knowledge of cognitive-behavioral therapy, assessment, and social learning theory
- Proven ability to train and mentor others in clinical practices
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet agency driver standards
- Willingness to obtain LSI-R certification within 90 days and core curriculum training within 189 days
