Schedule: 9:00am-1:00pm
Compensation: $15.00/hour
About the job:
VOAMN Senior Nutrition Program is hiring a part-time Cook to prepare and serve meals to program participants, senior adults aged 60 and over, and maintain sanitary and orderly food service areas.
Essentials:
- Follow prescribed procedures for preparing program defined meals, completing meal set up as defined by the program, serving and/or delivering meals to participants as defined by the program.
- Inventory food, temp food, per safe food handling standards.
- Ensure all food service areas, storage, supply areas and utensils are sanitary and orderly.
- Maintain reservations and temperature logs
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Ability to lift, up to 25 lbs.
- Effective communication skills
