Description:

The Program Clinician is a member of an interdisciplinary team that supports the well-being and optimal functioning of six adults living with serious mental illness in a co-ed group home. The Program Clinician is a highly adaptive, flexible, and innovative problem-solver who enjoys all aspects of milieu treatment.

The Program Clinician will actively work with the direct care staff in the areas of training, group clinical supervision, and best practices in working with adults with serious mental illness. The Program Clinician works with the residents by providing an array of individual services (individual counseling, skill-building groups, wellness management), and developing individual service plans. The Program Clinician serves as the primary point of contact for guardians and community providers to ensure coordinated care. Typical documentation duties include assessments, service plans, and continued stay reviews for all clients in the 6-bed program. As a member of the program management team, the Program Clinician works in partnership with the Program Manager and the Regional Nurse to ensure continuous program quality in the areas of client services, staff development, program efficiencies, and opportunities for growth.

If interested in full-time position, the clinician will work with the Program Manager of our growing Daily Living Support Services to offer consultation &clinical review and authorization for service plans.


Full-time role: 40 Hours/Week

Part-time role: 20 Hours/Week


Qualifications:

· Excellent interpersonal skills, including strong collaborative skills and ability to lead by example;

· Cultural competency and the ability to teach others utilizing a variety of approaches;

· A Master’s degree with current LCSW or LCPC licensure is required, a conditional license will be considered based on experience;

· Three to four years’ experience in working with people with serious mental illness, preferred;

· Knowledge and skills in current evidence-based practices used to promote recovery and resiliency in adults living with serious mental illness, to include knowledge of a psychosocial rehabilitation, co-occurring disorders, community resources, and client rights;

· Excellent written and oral communication skills, including proficiency in computer skills;

· Experience in utilizing an electronic health record is preferred; and

· Valid Maine driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable vehicle is required.
