Position: Residential Re-entry Monitor Supervisor
Location: Avenue J - Fort Worth, TX
Rate of Pay: $47,476 annually
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
The Residential Re-Entry Monitor Supervisor is responsible for the management of functional operation of the residential program in accordance with VOA Texas and FBOP policies and procedures. This position manages the Re-Entry Monitors and Client monitoring while providing appropriate documentation.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the management of functional operation of the residential program in accordance with VOA Texas and FBOP policies and procedures
- Manages the Re-Entry Monitors and Client monitoring.
- Assigns shift duties to Residential Re-Entry
- Maintains the overall security and operational control of the assigned facility.
- Maintains chronological written records of events that occur during the shift.
- Monitors client movements inside and outside the facility.
- Controls contraband in facility through general observation, facility searches, and client searches
- Handles telephone inquiries and takes
- Observes client behavior and reports to the Lead RRM or supervisor in a timely manner any situations that are irregular or exceptional.
- Has responsibility for client care, in compliance with standards of ethics of
- Responsible for the oversight of medication procedures to ensure audits are accurate and medication is being taken as prescribed.
- Responsible for oversight of the urinalysis/breathalyzer procedures and search procedures (client, vehicle, and facility), to ensure compliance per contractual agreement.
- Supervises residents in observance of house rules, as well as Policies and Procedures of Volunteers of America Texas and the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
- Makes periodic tours of the facility and the grounds to ensure high level of security by observation and corrective action, if necessary.
- Assists in planning, implementing and supervision of client
- Participates and leads staff training, staffing patterns and supervisory
- Prepares and maintains appropriate records and reports, in accordance with the program, agency and licensing
- Provides support to clients and serves in the on-call rotation.

- Assists with client files in securing necessary
- Supervises the taking of medication prescribed by physicians and over the counter
- May transport clients to meetings, appointments, jobs and any other transport that has been approved by Management Staff.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum 2 years of experience in working in a correctional or halfway house facility.
- Requires a demonstrated ability in record keeping and ability to monitor to residents and use positive discipline methods.
- Valid Texas Driver License, clear MVR and the ability to be insured is required.
