- Authorizing diagnostic tests

Requirements:

Patient Service Coordinators are also routinely cross-trained to assist in medical assistant duties including but not limited to:
a. Rooming patients (obtaining vitals, histories, etc.)
b. Triaging
c. Assisting providers
d. Stocking supplies
e. Cleaning
There are multiple available positions: PT and FT Possible Locations: South Daytona, New Smyrna Beach, Deland Flexible Times/Days: Mondays through Fridays - can work around school pickups
Summary
As a Patient Services Coordinator, you will be integral to the smooth operation of our healthcare facility, providing essential administrative support and exceptional patient service. Reporting to the Office Manager, your core responsibilities will include managing medical records, handling front desk operations, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, referrals, authorizations, telephone calls, and billing. Your proficiency in EHR systems and medical terminology will enhance patient interactions and streamline office processes. With your strong computer skills and experience in a medical office setting, you will contribute significantly to our commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
