Group Trucks Operations encompasses all production of the Group’s manufacturing of Volvo, Renault and Mack trucks, as well as engines and transmissions. General Core Responsibilities
- Performs chemical titrations and bath analysis in the various stages of pre-treatment and electro coat systems. As well as physical tests
- Performs and Operates Waste Water Treatment according to permit parameters
- Perform Datapaq, voltage sub, ACT panels for SEM/CW
- Adds chemicals and paint to the systems as required to maintain the processes within required parameters
- Maintains the multi-stage pre-treatment, Electro coat, DI water and RO water systems within required operational parameters
- Dumps/Clean/Recharge tanks, and change filters as needed
- Maintains written and computer-based records of the operational performance of the systems (including Statistical Process Control)
- Maintains inventories of chemicals and test supplies
- Communicates with internal and external suppliers and customers, both verbally and with written reports
- General Housekeeping
- Troubleshooting
- Mathematics
- Ability to understand analytical laboratory reports, compare results, and perform process corrections as required
- Microsoft Office Excel and Outlook
- Ability to understand and perform verbal and written technical instructions
- Ability to write legibly and logically
- Knowledge of general safety practices
- Good mechanical aptitude
