Primary responsibilities include : obtaining and performing documentation review in the due diligence process related to business transactions and preparation of related closing deliverables, powers of attorney, secretary’s certificates, incumbency certificates and similar documents. Additional duties include administration of business record keeping, maintaining corporate records through online and in-house databases, drafting and filing charter documents and preparing corporate resolutions for Shareholders, Board of Directors and Managers. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 : 30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
We seek a team oriented, dedicated professional with superior client service skills, exceptional multitasking, attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast-paced legal environment. Demonstrated technical aptitude and proficiency utilizing MS Office Suite is required. Qualified candidates will have an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Legal Assistant / Paralegal studies or a Paralegal Certificate and a minimum of three years’ professional experience as a Paralegal.
