Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Music Studio Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our unique music studio Airbnb property. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and managing all music equipment, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests, and providing exceptional customer service. This role involves a combination of music studio management and hospitality duties, making it perfect for someone with a passion for both music and guest services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Management: Regularly inspect, maintain, and manage all music equipment, ensuring everything is in working order. Handle any repairs or replacements as needed.

• Guest Support: Assist guests with setting up and using the music equipment. Provide a welcoming and supportive environment for all guests.

• Quick Start Guide: Create and update a comprehensive quick start guide for the music equipment, ensuring guests can easily understand and use the gear.

• Rental Management: Implement processes for locking up certain gear and making it available upon request. Manage rental fees for high-value equipment.

• Studio Readiness: Ensure the studio is always ready for guests, including cleanliness, equipment setup, and overall presentation.

• Issue Triage: Handle any guest issues related to the music studio, providing timely and effective solutions.

• Client Expansion: Potentially assist with local client bookings and expand the use of the studio beyond Airbnb guests.

• Property Maintenance: Perform general property maintenance tasks as needed, ensuring the guest house is in top condition.

• Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect both the property and the equipment from theft or damage.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in managing a music studio or similar environment.

• Strong knowledge of music equipment, including guitars, microphones, recording desks, and related technology.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair music equipment.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

• Ability to create and follow processes and procedures.

• Flexible schedule to accommodate guest needs and maintenance tasks.

• Basic understanding of hospitality management is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Airbnb or other short-term rental platforms.

• Local to Austin, Texas.

• Experience in creating instructional guides or manuals.

• Previous experience in property management or maintenance.
