Job Brief

We are seeking a talented and experienced Bench Jeweler who excels in all aspects of jewelry making, repair, and restoration. This role requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates outstanding communication skills, and consistently makes sound decisions using strong problem-solving abilities. ResponsibilitiesJewelry Repairs

• Fix broken clasps and replace worn or damaged prongs.
• Resize rings and repair broken chains.
• Remount stones and fix bent or damaged jewelry.

Stone Setting

• Set new gemstones and replace loose stones.
• Match stone cuts and sizes with precision.

Finishing and Polishing

• Buff and polish finished pieces to perfection.
• Clean and inspect jewelry for quality assurance.

Metalwork

• Perform soldering, welding, and engraving tasks.

Customer Service

• Consult with clients to discuss repair options and provide accurate estimates.
• Maintain clear communication with clients about repair progress and timelines.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a high-end jewelry manufacturing shop or store.
• Knowledge: Expertise in intricate jewelry construction, precious metal properties, and colored stone characteristics.
• Technical Skills: Ability to construct handmade elements, clasps, and mechanical components.
• Teamwork: Excellent communication skills for effectively collaborating within a team environment.
• Motivation: Highly driven with a passion for quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.
