Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in fine dining and a commitment to delivering exceptional culinary experiences. As a Chef, you will lead kitchen operations, manage food preparation, and ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.

Duties

  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and seasonal ingredients.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding food handling and sanitation.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to minimize waste.
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation in all dishes served.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during meal periods.
  • Handle special dietary requests and accommodate guests' preferences effectively.
  • Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food industry.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen safety protocols.
  • Experience in fine dining establishments is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
  • Proficiency in food management, including inventory control and cost management.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with staff and guests.
  • Knowledge of bartending is a plus but not required.
  • Passion for culinary arts and commitment to delivering outstanding hospitality.
