Vornado’s BMS team is seeking a Manager, FP&A to work in Paramus, NJ to serve as a leader of the BMS Finance team. Responsibilities include annual budget and reforecasting for the entire organization, preparation of quarterly management reports, including variation explanations and in-depth understanding and reporting of key business drivers. Must be able to understand and utilize sophisticated financial models that will enable the real-time delivery of insightful analysis of business trends, operating performance among peers, across business segments and to add value to management’s decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities Include The Following
- Drive an efficient, effective and comprehensive process for developing financial plans and analysis that links to the Company’s strategic objectives.
- Develop and monitor the Company’s annual budget and reforecasts, which include establishing budget tools, setting timelines, and ensuring that all budgets are accurate, comprehensive, and completed on time.
- Prepare and monitor the company’s long range strategic planning models.
- Prepare quarterly management reports that include comprehensive key performance indicators, operational dashboard reporting, analysis of key business trends, actual versus budget variances and comprehensive executive level explanations of differences.
- Provide financial modeling, financial analysis, strategic initiatives, and other ad-hoc financial projects.
- Drive cost optimization and expense management effort across the organization to deliver efficiencies across the businesses.
- Maintain relationships with all the departmental management teams to ensure quality deliverables and proper information flow.
- Exhibit flexibility and willingness to take on new responsibilities and assignments as they are identified and to assist with various ad hoc projects as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Demonstrated ability to establish positive relationships and work effectively with all internal and external constituencies.
- Able to formulate a data-driven independent opinion, supported by exploration of alternatives to bring fresh insights to the executive team
- Excellent people management, leadership and development skills coupled with the ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities and rapid changes are essential.
- Ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity.
- Strong leadership and assertiveness to drive business and finance management through all phases of the financial planning and analysis processes.
