Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Marketing - The Pricing Analyst must timely and accurately compute product quotations within company approved guidelines as well as regularly maintain/report quote activity.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities

- Enters all requests for quotations into computer inquiry/tracking system and maintains accuracy of the data.
- Confers with Sales and other required departments to prepare and complete quotations for new and existing customers.
- Work with paint vendors to obtain required paint information based on end use.
- Compute pricing by analyzing material costs, line time costs and margin requirements.
- Follow-up on quotation progress to ensure customers receive quotes in a timely manner while also soliciting competitive feedback from customers.
- Informs customer service or sales personnel of unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by the customer.
- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Follows policies and procedures; completes administrative tasks correctly and in timely manner; prioritizes work activities; meets deadlines; contributes to profit and revenue.
- Contributes to team effort by assisting in areas as needed, including special projects, general office, and other administrative functions.
- Special projects - work with Marketing, Pricing, and Sales as needed to support various internal analyses and market research reports
- Complete additional tasks as requested, which include being primary back-up to daily Order Entry process

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Strong organization and planning skills; ability to plan and manage competing priorities.
- Coil coating experience a plus.
- College or technical degree in a related field of study or equivalent training, preferred
- Experience working with ERP Systems, preferably Epicor.
- Extremely high proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and other Windows-based software.
- Must be meticulous with above average detail orientation, accuracy, and follow-through.
- Ability to be self-directed and individually resourceful, working independently but also within the fast-paced office/production environment.
- Can flexibly and comfortably change approach, vary actions/tactics and shift priorities as required.
- Position is a Full-Time, In-Office role based at Oakmont Corporate Headquarters. Individual will be required to work on-site during standard business hours, Monday - Friday, unless otherwise approved by management.
- Willingness to travel periodically to all manufacturing facilities

- Proficient in Microsoft Office

The noise level in the primary work environment is usually quiet. The primary work area is climate controlled, but the manufacturing areas are not climate controlled, and temperatures range from cold to hot. The employee is occasionally required to walk in the manufacturing areas where he or she will be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is required to wear appropriate personnel protective equipment when working in production areas.
