BIM Manager

📢 A BIM Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation and management of BIM processes and technologies in construction and architecture projects. Their role is integral to ensuring that all teams work efficiently using BIM tools, enabling collaboration and maximizing project success. The role involves both technical expertise in BIM software and management skills to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.

🚩Main key skills:

BIM Implementation & Strategy:

• Develop and implement BIM standards, processes, and protocols to be followed across all project teams.
• Align BIM execution plans with the overall project goals, ensuring that BIM is used effectively at every stage.
• Develop and test links between BIM & EAM Enterprise Asset Management solutions.

🚩Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of BIM tools and workflows.
• Coordinate the sharing and management of digital models to facilitate efficient collaboration and problem-solving.
• Work with Voyansi Back Office professional services.

🚩Software & Technology Management:

• Manage and operate BIM software (e.g., Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, etc.) and ensure that the team is well-trained in using these tools.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest BIM technologies and trends to keep the team competitive and efficient.

🚩Model Coordination & Quality Control:

• Oversee the creation, management, and maintenance of 3D models to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to BIM standards.
• Implement model review procedures and ensure that all project stakeholders are following best practices for model development.

🚩Data Management & Reporting:

• Ensure that all project data (including 3D models, drawings, schedules, and other documents) is properly stored, managed, and accessible for all stakeholders.
• Generate reports and analytics related to BIM data to support decision-making processes.

🚩Training & Support:

• Provide ongoing training and technical support to team members on BIM tools, processes, and best practices.
• Ensure that new staff are integrated smoothly into the BIM workflow and are up to date with the tools and protocols.

🚩Project Oversight:

• Ensure that BIM is applied throughout the project lifecycle, from design through to construction and handover.
• Lead the coordination of the BIM models across different disciplines (e.g., MEP, structural, architectural) to prevent clashes and conflicts.

🚩Communication:

• Communicate and liaise with project stakeholders to ensure understanding and proper use of BIM within the project.
• Act as the main point of contact for any BIM-related questions or issues that arise.

🚩What challenges will you get here:

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, etc.), advanced knowledge of 3D modeling, data management, and clash detection.
• Project Management: Experience in project management, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with different stakeholders and coordinate efforts across teams.
• Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot BIM-related issues and provide solutions that improve workflow efficiency.
• Leadership: Ability to manage a team, provide guidance, and drive the adoption of BIM practices across the project. Manage relationships with customers
• Sales: Collaborate with the sales engineering department to estimate projects and create proposals following company standards. Assist the sales team attending sales calls/meetings. Assist to events/conferences in representation of the company.

🚩Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Architecture, Engineering or other related fields 3 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• 5 or more years of experience with Autodesk Revit.
• 5 or more years of experience with Autodesk Navisworks.
• General knowledge of integrated architectural and engineering practice.
• Spirit of innovation and creativity in problem approach.
• Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency combined with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively within a team environment.
• Ability to demonstrate and communicate the benefits of BIM for internal and external
• Construction Staff and Management.
• Experience with design and construction document coordination.
• Strong collaboration and communication (written and verbal) skills.
• Ability to work as a member of a team
• Show flexibility under changing conditions
• Construction site experience and familiarity with common construction safety practices is desirable.
