We are seeking applicants to occupy the position of Sr. Accela Developer within our NYC Fire Department of New York (FDNY) team located in Brooklyn, NY.
Key Responsibilities :
The Senior Accela Developer will play a critical role in the design, development, and implementation of the project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Accela Civic Platform and a strong background in software development, particularly in the context of government and public safety applications.
Design, develop, and implement solutions using the Accela Civic Platform to meet the needs of the project.
Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
Customize and configure Accela applications, including scripting, workflow development, and integration with other systems.
Develop and maintain data integrations between Accela and other systems.
Ensure the quality and performance of Accela solutions through rigorous testing and debugging.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and other team members.
Participate in project planning, status meetings, and other project-related activities.
Stay current with Accela platform updates, best practices, and industry trends.
Mandatory Qualifications : MUST MEET ALL AND BE DOCUMENTED IN RESUME
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience with the Accela Civic Platform.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, SQL, and other relevant programming languages.
Experience with Accela scripting, workflow configuration, and data integration.
Familiarity with web services, APIs, and other integration technologies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Desired Qualifications :
Experience working on government or public safety projects is a plus.
Knowledge of building inspection processes and regulations.
Experience with data analytics and reporting tools.
Certification in Accela Civic Platform or related technologies.
