What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trademark Attorney position at VOYlegal?
An Am Law 200 firm with more than 200 attorneys with offices in Atlanta and Washington, D.C., is seeking an attorney experienced in trademark and related intellectual property laws, as well as litigation and dispute resolution, with at least three to four years’ experience in a law firm setting.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in trademark prosecution and counseling and must have experience with federal court litigation, including direct experience with drafting and reviewing pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
In particular, interested applicants must have deep and regular experience in trademark clearance and prosecution work (domestic and global), as well as familiarity with review of creative assets for compliance with FTC and other advertising laws. Experience with Trademark Trial and Appeal Board (“TTAB”) proceedings and litigating in federal court are also necessary skillsets. Bonus skills include copyright law experience, proficiency with Spanish, as well as background in the restaurant, software, life sciences, and/or consumer packaged goods industries.
