Commercial HVAC Salesperson

VP Mechanical is seeking an experienced HVAC Professional to join our Commercial HVAC Sales Team. Our company has been locally owned and operating in IL for over 20 years, and we stive to serve with strong customer service and integrity. Our ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a sense of teamwork, be self-motivated, and detail oriented. Must have knowledge of HVAC systems and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Propose and close Commercial HVAC projects by estimating costs and preparing detailed quotations for customers (GCs)
• Develop and/or maintain relationships with commercial vendors/existing customers (GCs) and potential new customers (GCs) to maximize sales opportunities
• Ensure customer satisfaction before, during, and after the sale.
• Support VP Mechanical leadership teams directed sales plans, policies, and procedures to achieve revenue targets
• Monitor and maintain a minimum gross profit for all awarded projects
• Providing after-sales support and do job site visits
• Working towards meeting or exceeding sales targets set by the company
• Use FASTDUCT and BUILD Ops for bidding/ quoting projects
• Write up and follow up on change order to awarded projects
• Work directly with the permit process for any applicable project that is required
• Collaborate with installation and technical teams to ensure timely and effective project completion

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Sales Representative in the HVAC industry
• Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets
• Travel for customer (GC)/ client meetings and industry events
• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field welcomed
