Description : Position Overview :
The Corporate Manager will oversee and manage the multi-state day-to-day operations of the company’s fleet, material handling equipment management, safety programs, and building maintenance functions across all facilities. This role ensures that systems, policies, and procedures are effectively implemented to maintain operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and workplace safety. The manager will develop strategies to optimize fleet performance, ensure compliance with safety standards, and coordinate facility maintenance activities across multiple states to create a safe and functional working environment. Additionally, this role will provide leadership and guidance to team members responsible for fleet, safety, and facility management, collaborating with departments across regions to align operational objectives with overall business goals. The manager will also develop and manage budgets for fleet operations, safety initiatives, and facility maintenance, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control at every location.
Key Responsibilities :
Fleet Management :
- Oversee the acquisition, maintenance, and optimization of the company’s multi-state fleet and material handling equipment to ensure operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Enhance and streamline preventive maintenance (PM) scheduling for the fleet and material handling equipment, ensuring compliance with OSHA and transportation regulations across all locations.
- Optimize route planning and enhance routing capabilities across state and regional boundaries.
- Conduct driver and equipment operator training in collaboration with branch Outbound Management teams in each state.
- Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable pricing and improved service levels for all branches.
- Provide regional branch management with regular feedback on telematics and tracking systems (including Cameras, Pictures, DVIR, Elite).
- Review fleet data with senior management quarterly, focusing on multi-state proposals that align with our “Pain-Free Construction” objective.
