One of our departments is seeking to hire an Inside Sales Representative to join our Syracuse branch. As an essential business, our experienced team continues to provide the best customer experience to both commercial and residential clients.

Responsibilities:
- Create detailed, timely, and accurate quotes for customers, selecting appropriate equipment and supplies.
- Ensure quotes are competitively priced while maintaining company profit margins.
- Proactively identify customer needs through effective questioning and listening skills.
- Recommend products and services that accurately meet these needs.
- Maintain daily communication with customers and vendors, ensuring high-level service.
- Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Monitor backorders actively and inform customers about any status changes as soon as they occur.
- Work towards solutions to minimize the impact of backorders on customers.
- Efficiently handle order entry and rigorously follow up on out-of-compliance orders daily.
- Utilize Elite Extra software effectively for order tracking and logistical support.
- Provide thorough post-sale service, including managing warranty claims and related issues.
- Ensure a positive customer experience even after the sale is complete.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, products, and innovations.
- Share relevant industry insights with customers, enhancing their trust in our expertise.
- Assist with counter service overflow as needed.
- Keep your assigned warehouse aisles organized and well-stocked.

Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of sales experience in a related field.

- Proficient computer skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred.
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This position routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones. While a largely sedentary role, some lifting or carrying of items up to 25 pounds may occasionally be required.
