Responsibilities:
- Accurately and precisely measure and dispense raw materials for medication compounding according to established formulas and procedures.
- Operate and maintain compounding equipment to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following good manufacturing practices (GMP) to prevent cross-contamination and ensure product integrity.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to compound various dosage forms, including creams, ointments, capsules, solutions, suspensions, and more.
- Perform quality control checks to verify the accuracy and consistency of compounded medications.
- Monitor inventory levels of compounding materials.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compounding techniques, industry regulations, and best practices.
What We’re Looking For:

- Willingness to Learn: While a Provisional Technician License or Pharmacy Technician License is preferred, it’s not required. We’ll cover the cost of Provisional License and/or Pharmacy Technician certification if needed!
- Recent grad? If you’re fresh out of the lab with research experience, we’d love to have your energy and enthusiasm on board—don’t hesitate to apply!
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Requirements:
- Applicants must be willing to obtain a provisional license upon employment if they do not have a Pharmacy Technician Certification. VPI will pay for your Pharmacy Technician certification as well as provisional license if you do not have one!
