We are seeking a dedicated Bilingual Youth Care Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and/or adolescents in a social service setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct intake and property inventory, complete paperwork, and oversee program services.
- Provide essential needs to youth, including meals, clothing, and hygiene products.
- Develop positive relationships with youth, serve as a role model, and create a safe and caring environment.
- Assist with planning and coordination of special events, acculturation activities, and recreational outings.
- Observe, report, and document behavior patterns and required information.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree.
- 1 year employment experience in child welfare field, preferred but not required.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Flexible schedule, evenings, weekends, holidays.
- Valid driver's license.
- Cleared background checks.
- Pass a drug test and physical.
- OBTAIN FBI Level 1 clearance card, child abuse clearances, and state police background check.
