What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Intern position at vRad (Virtual Radiologic)?
This position requires the candidate to be on-site in our Edina, Minnesota based office 5 days a week, Monday-Friday.
Summary:
The Information Technology Project Intern is involved in our summer hardware refresh, which involves skills in customer support, hardware, and project focused work.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Take direction from project managers
- Send and receive emails with careful attention to detail and professionalism
- Schedule appointments in Microsoft Outlook
- Provide technical support over the telephone when necessary
- Other small office duties such as hardware testing & warranty work, inventory management, and other similar duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Education:
- In pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science or a related field
- Enjoys being busy, learning and working as part of a team
- Highly motivated and ability to work independently on defined tasks as needed
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, written, verbal and personal
Job Classification:
- Candidate must be able to lift up to 40 lbs on an ongoing basis with no restrictions
Salary : $19 - $21
