We are currently seeking an Experienced Tooling Mold Maker to join our team. In this role, you'll play a key part in the creation, maintenance, and optimization of high-precision molds used in our presses—ensuring the quality, efficiency, and consistency our customers expect.
🛠️ What You’ll Do
- Construct, repair, and maintain high-precision injection molds
- Set up and operate manual and CNC equipment: mills, lathes, grinders, EDMs
- Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and tolerances
- Use CAM software and 3D models to analyze mold designs
- Recommend and implement improvements to tooling performance and functionality
- Verify mold dimensions, alignment, and clearances using precision measuring tools
- Communicate tool status and needs with Tooling Manager and department leads
- Prepare molds for qualification and production readiness
- Document all work performed and maintain proper mold records
- Support troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and preventive maintenance of molds
- Journeyman Tool & Die Maker or equivalent experience
- 5–10 years of plastic injection mold building experience required
- Hands-on experience with CAM systems, CNC machining, and EDM equipment
- Familiarity with Mastercam, SolidWorks, Charmilles, and Okuma machines is a plus
- Excellent blueprint reading and CAD model interpretation skills
- Proven ability to prioritize projects and work under pressure
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship

- $5,000 after six (6) months of continuous employment
- $5,000 after twelve (12) months of continuous employment
