Web Developer (PHP)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, distributed features and solutions for desktop and mobile applications.
• Build new features to support business and project requirements, ensuring positive user experiences.
• Manage vendor support for maintenance and enhancements as needed.
• Adhere to agile development methodologies and best practices.
• Continuously seek learning opportunities to stay updated with new technologies.
  
  

Work Schedule: Currently, the VSP team operates onsite 4 days a week with 1 remote day, but this is subject to change based on project needs. Candidates must be prepared to work onsite for 4 days a week, and potentially full weeks when needed.

Qualifications

• Education: Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in information sciences, computer science, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in software implementation, with proven knowledge of back-end infrastructure maintenance and optimization, front-end technologies, and secure coding practices.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in PHP, WordPress architecture, SQL, REST API, and front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Soft Skills: Outstanding communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
