A Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct nursing care and assessment to long term and rehabilitation residents. A Registerd Nurse may supervise duties preformed by LPN's and CNA 's in a team care setting under the direction of the Nurse Manager., Nursing Supervisor and/or Director of Nursing. Primary Responsibilities:1. Provide direct care and treatment to long term and rehabilitation residents2. Provide assessment and documentation of residents under their care3. Initiates and administers Intravenous treatments4. Communicates with the Nursing team and Medical team as appropriate5. Reviews and Evaluates the resident care plan6. Transcribes Physician orders7. May assist in orientating new staff8. Maintains competency in all site-specific tasks required by the facility
