What you need :
- Three to five years in a related business development position. Proven record of finding and acquiring new customers to a comparable service-based business using cold calling, networking, and identifying market opportunities.
- Industry-related work experience or related field to include prior management
- Advanced knowledge of building code requirements for the fire protection
- Demonstrated ability to interact and communicate with internal and external customers in a positive and professional
- Conflict resolution, organizational and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate the best possible pricing and discounts with local vendors and
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret construction drawings and job-specific
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to pass various background checks.
- Reliable transportation, valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
- Ability to perform in-person visits with
- Visual acuity for reading documents, meters, and
- Clear and effective communication skills for both in-person and phone communication.
- Desirable (but not required) :
Associate or bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
