What you need:
- Three to five (3-5) years of experience in contract sales relating to fire sprinklers or low voltage.
- Demonstrated sales experience with strong prospecting skills, proven history of successful sales and contract negotiation.
- In-depth knowledge and experience related to the installation and maintenance of fire protection systems, especially fire sprinkler systems, fire detection and alarm systems, security, surveillance, and access systems.
- Knowledge of applicable state and local codes, Fire Marshals, NFPA 72 Standard, ADA and Authorities Having Jurisdiction governing the location of the company's work geography.
- Good record keeping skills is essential to complete forms and documentation related to sales and estimating proposals.
- Monitor and enforce safety policies and procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.
- Ability to pass various background checks.
- Reliable transportation, valid State Driver's License with acceptable driving record for use of company vehicle.
- Desirable (but not required!): NICET Level I certification.

- Tailor solutions to address each client's specific requirements, demonstrating how our services can enhance their safety protocols and compliance.
- Cultivate long-term relationships with clients, acting as their trusted advisor in all matters related to life safety inspection and testing.
- Maintain regular communication to provide updates on industry trends, regulatory changes, and new technologies.
- Collaborate closely with clients to develop customized inspection and testing schedules that align with their operational needs.
- Prepare comprehensive and compelling proposals that outline the scope of our services, timelines, and pricing.
- Engage in negotiations with clients, showcasing your strong sales acumen to reach mutually beneficial agreements.
- Address any concerns or objections with confidence and professionalism, ensuring client satisfaction and trust.
- Collaborate with our technical teams to ensure seamless execution of inspection and testing projects.
- Communicate client expectations, project requirements, and timelines effectively to internal stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing support and coordination throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction.
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements, regulations, and best practices in the life safety industry.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential opportunities, and competitive landscape
- Continuously enhance your knowledge and skills through industry seminars, conferences, and training programs.
This role is designated as safety-sensitive due to responsibilities that could entail the use of motor vehicles, mobile equipment, working at heights, climbing ladders, and utilizing lift equipment.
