Location: Baton Rouge, LA
The Field Support Specialist provides technical, product, and sales support to current and new customers to facilitate sales growth.
Essential Functions
We are seeking a Field Support Specialist to drive sales and expand the use of our sealing products across various industries, including Industrial and Transportation markets. In this role, you will:
- Identify sealing needs and cost-saving opportunities for new and existing clients.
- Collaborate with Sealing Specialists and Regional Sales Managers to provide top-tier customer support.
- Conduct on-site visits, storeroom surveys, and problem-solving sessions to offer sealing solutions.
- Lead training sessions, both in-person and virtual, to educate customers on product applications.
- Support vendor-managed inventory (VMI) and consignment agreements.
- Act as a trusted advisor by assisting plant engineers with torque calculations and downtime reduction strategies.
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and corporate teams to enhance customer experience.
- Utilize Salesforce to document work impact and customer interactions.

Education and Experience
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience and/or training related to job functions
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) proficiency
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field (Preferred)
- Customer service experience in manufacturing and/or sales (Preferred)
- Working knowledge of MAS500 (Preferred)
