What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Warranty Tech position at VSSI LLC Staffing Services?
Pay : $22 to $26 depending on engine knowledge and experience.
Schedule : 7am to 3 : 30pm with 2 hrs of OT mandatory. Monday to Friday, occasionally Saturday.
General Description :
This position is responsible for handling warranty inspections and return to stock repairs / inspection for our OE and aftermarket engines. applicants must be organized, dependable, and detail oriented.
- Detailed inspections on engines returned under warranty to determine cause of failure.
- Assist other warranty text and determining cause of failure and completing / documenting the required testing evidence.
- Coordinate special inspection as required by the warranty customer service department.
- Complete inspection reports and submit them to the warranty team.
- Fill out daily receiving logs and confirm the correct product returned.
- Operate forklift to unload warranty returns from LTL carriers.
- Remove engines from Shipping containers, drain oil, antifreeze, and load onto the inspection line.
- Assist the return to stock engines inspection and make minor repairs as needed.
- Keep work areas clean.
