We are seeking a highly skilled SAP PRA Business Analyst with expertise in the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with SAP PRA, particularly in revenue accounting or compliance, and a proven track record in system implementations and upgrades. This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
System Implementation and Upgrades:
- Lead or support the implementation, upgrade, and optimization of SAP PRA systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, test, and deploy system enhancements.
Business Analysis:
- Gather and document business requirements, translating them into functional specifications.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, ensuring the SAP PRA system aligns with business needs.
Revenue and Compliance Expertise:
- Provide expertise in revenue accounting or regulatory compliance within the oil and gas sector.
- Ensure solutions meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
System Support and Troubleshooting:
- Act as the primary liaison between business and IT teams, resolving issues promptly.
- Provide post-implementation support, including user training and documentation.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work closely with business leaders, end-users, and technical teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to align business objectives with system capabilities.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise with SAP PRA in the oil and gas industry.
- Hands-on experience with implementations, upgrades, and system configurations.
- In-depth knowledge of production and revenue accounting or compliance processes in oil and gas.
- Solid understanding of end-to-end business processes, including upstream operations.
- Ability to create detailed functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams for solution delivery.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with regulatory reporting and ensuring systems meet compliance standards.
- Proficiency in SAP modules that integrate with PRA, such as FI/CO and JVA (Joint Venture Accounting).
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of SAP PRA experience, with a focus on implementations or upgrades.
- Oil and gas industry background is required.
