Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Telecom Project Manager to lead the migration of over 100,000 smartphone lines from multiple carriers to a single carrier as part of a citywide cost-saving initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage the transition, ensuring timely execution and compliance with the Single Carrier agreement.
- Inventory Management: Prepare and track the smartphone migration inventory, addressing discrepancies with carriers.
- Coordination: Collaborate with carriers and agencies to create and update migration schedules and service orders.
- Reporting: Generate weekly/monthly reports on project progress, risks, and issues, including executive dashboards.
- Post-Migration Support: Address any user issues post-migration and ensure resolution with the carrier.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 8 years as a Telecom Wireless Project Manager.
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills. Familiarity with Telecom Expense Management and city procurement procedures is a plus.
